Microsoft Edge is rolling out a new feature that provides users with auto-generated alternative text for images using Machine Learning algorithms. Alternative text, also known as image label, gives blind or low-vision users an accurate description of the pictures. However, many images on the web are missing the alt text. To solve this problem, Microsoft Edge uses algorithms to describe the image in words, and provides a description of the image that screen readers can read out loud.

Microsoft has rolled out several new features for Edge browser. With the latest update, the company has added:

• Enhanced Security Mode where browser security takes priority, giving users an extra layer of protection when browsing the web.
• The Edge Bar, a floating widget that makes it easier for users to visit their favorite websites right from the desktop.
• Windows 11-style overlay scrollbars
• Customized list, which allows users to create a personalized list of sites for automatic profile switching in Microsoft Edge.

Use voice search to search the web just by speaking to your phone. With image search, you can search the web for results based on a photo or image.
