March 1, 2022: Free temporary housing for Ukrainian refugees
Airbnb is offering free temporary housing for up to 100,000 Ukrainians who are fleeing the country due to the on-going crisis in Ukraine. The housing will be provided by Airbnb, along with donors to the Airbnb.org Refugee Fund and hosts on the platform. Airbnb will also work with nonprofits on the ground, who are responsible for booking and coordinating stays for refugee guests.
December 21, 2021: “Anti-party” restrictions on New Year’s Eve
Airbnb is tightening its policy restrictions on New Year’s Eve parties, adding “anti-party” restrictions to some three-night rentals. Guests without a history of positive reviews on the platform will be prohibited from making three-night reservations for entire houses, with the aim of protecting its hosts and minimizing neighborhood disruption.
November 11, 2021: Accessible accommodations for travelers with disabilities
To make it easier for travelers with disabilities to find accommodations on the app, Airbnb is updating its accessibility search filters and accessibility review process.
Airbnb is implementing a new accessibility review process, in which hosts can submit pictures of the accessibility features in their homes, and then Airbnb agents will review and confirm the accuracy of the features. The app is also improving its accessibility search filters across 13 categories, helping people with disabilities to quickly find rentals that meet their needs.

How to book your first trip on Airbnb?
1.Register an account and log in. You can also sign up using your Facebook account, your Google Account or Email account.
2.Complete your profile in Account by filling in basic personal information. This will help your hosts learn about you while reviewing your trip requests.
3.Search for your ideal place by location, cost range, check-in and check-out dates.
4.Carefully review the description, photos, reviews, house rules, amenities and cancellation policy. You can also contact the host before booking to make sure about some specific details.
5.Click on “book now” and you will be directed to the booking page. After checking the prices, hit “Book” and you’ll be taken to a message box for the host, explaining who you are and why you want to stay with them. If your host agrees to your request, you’ve got yourself an Airbnb booking, and your credit card will now be charged with all costs.
